Learn the ‘True Cost’ of Fashion Through Doc

BANGKOK — Behind the latest trendy fashionable clothes hides the ugly truths of global capitalism and the workers in third-world sweatshops.

Inspired by the 2013 Bangladesh garment factory collapse that killed more than 1,000 workers, director Andrew Morgan traveled to 13 developing countries to explore the lives and poor working conditions of low-wage workers to make “The True Cost.”

The 2015 documentary consists of interviews with garment workers, factory owners and environmentalists.

Tickets for the film are 160 baht.
