Canadian Synth-Punk Duo ‘Crystal Castles’ Coming to Bangkok

BANGKOK — Two Toronto-based electronic synth-punk purveyors just added Bangkok as another destination of their tour.

Known for chaotic live shows and lo-fi melancholic self-made productions, Canadian duo Crystal Castles, comprised of Ethan Kath and Edith Frances, will be coming to show off their groundbreaking experimental act for one night in Bangkok.

Tickets for the event are available online for 1,190 baht. The concert starts at 9:30pm on May 20 at Live RCA Bangkok. Get there from MRT Phetchaburi by a 15 minute taxi or motorbike ride.

Crystal Castles was formed in 2003. Their popular songs include “Crimewave,” “Vanished” and their first worldwide charting single in 2010, “Not In Love” featuring The Cure vocalist Robert Smith.
