First Look at Rescued Cave Boys in Recovery (Video)

CHIANG RAI — After a more than two-week ordeal, the rescued cave boys appeared in great spirits and good health in a touching video of them in their hospital ward released late Wednesday.

Staying in an isolation ward with green masks covering their faces, the boys are seen laughing with nurses, walking around and making signs for love and victory to their families on the other side of a glass partition.

At a press briefing yesterday, Health Department deputy chief Thongchai Lertwilairattanapong said the boys were recovering well both physically and mentally, adding that families are now allowed to pay bedside visits on the condition they wear protection suits and keep two meters from them.
