Sririta Jensen, Managing Director of Organika House and founder of Organika, said that, “Organika has always been engaged in social responsibility activities because we are fully aware of the importance of nature and the environment, and the healing power of nature that balances the body and mind. We believe that it’s important to instill the love for nature in children and the community. And since Organika is a new spa brand that is entering its fourth successful year, we recently launched a campaign titled Unity of Nature to comply with Organika’s philosophy “The Human and nature are of the same root, the garden and I are one.” For us, helping people is helping nature.”

The tree-planting activity was joined by students from five schools, namely Khanong Phra Nua School, Khanong Phra Tai School, Nikom 5 School, Nong Taku School and Khao Chanhom School. All the five schools firmly believe in the practices of the late HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, especially the sustainable living idea. The schools plant their own vegetable for consumption and sell the rest in the market to earn extra income. They also promote sustainable agriculture and safety in the forest.

“I really want everyone to truly love nature. I want to see kids growing up loving and protecting their hometown, so I wish to create environmental awareness in young children. Last year, Thailand was faced with inconsolable loss with the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej and it is my intention to pass on HM’s idea of sustainable economy to the children, inspiring them to study hard and nurturing them to grow into quality adults. Organika may be a small voice but the success of this campaign is significant. I want to see the small trees that we planted grow. In the future, Organika is planning for more various other social responsibility and environmental activities,” the executive said.
