The hotel will be welcoming the award-winning Chef Ibuki Matsumoto who will present his creative Japanese-style pastries and savories, accompanied by the High Tea at The Lobby Lounge from the July 14th – 21st, 2018. During the time of his stay with us, he will conduct two exclusive cooking classes on July 18th and 21st.

Offering a perfect new destination for your indulgent teatime, The Lobby Lounge welcomes Chef Ibuki Matsumoto and his innovative culinary creations for a week of Japanese High Tea, featuring a selection of Ronnefeldt tea. Choose from such sweet treats as Matcha TIRAMISU, Ricotta Cheese Matcha Pancake and Strawberry Shortcake. The High Tea promotion will run from July 14th to 21stfrom 2 pm – 5 pm at The Lobby Lounge on the Lobby Level. Join Chef Matsumoto exclusive cooking class on July 18th and 21st which will be held at 11am. Guests are invited to participate in a hands-on cooking demonstration and learn secret tips in making delectable desserts, followed by a high tea in a cozy setting at 2 pm. Priced at THB 888++ per person.Booking is required in advance.

Chef Ibuki Matsumoto started out his career as a chef at the Tokyo Hilton Hotel and has been working with a number of international hotels, including The Century Hyatt, Disney Ambassador Hotel and Ginza Lakrin Hotel. He currently joins the devoted culinary team at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay. Chef Ibuki boasts an array of awards in recognition of his cooking. One of the most prestigious awards is the gold medal at Higachi Nihon Yogashi (East Japan Pastry Award). The use of innovative ingredients in his pastries has always kept his work exciting.
