LISA brought a taste of Thailand to American late-night television while promoting her latest single, “SaWaDiKa”, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
During the closing segment of the show, the Thai K-pop star introduced host Jimmy Fallon to some of her favourite Thai food and drinks, including som tam and Thai beer.
LISA recommended som tam, or spicy green papaya salad, and encouraged Fallon to try dried shrimp and fresh chilli — ingredients commonly found in the dish.
She then shared her own drink recipe, combining Korean soju, Thai beer and Sprite.
The segment ended with LISA introducing another familiar part of Thai drinking culture: raising a glass and saying “mot kaew”, meaning “bottoms up”.
The appearance gave American viewers a playful introduction to Thai food, flavours and drinking culture as LISA continued promoting “SaWaDiKa” in the US.
