Mysterious red billboards bearing the words “HELLO สวัสดีค่ะ” appeared in major cities around the world in recent days, leaving fans guessing until the campaign was revealed as LISA’s latest solo project.
The billboards appeared in Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City without identifying the artist behind them. A website featuring “Hello” in multiple languages and a countdown to 20:00 on 24 August added to the mystery.
When the countdown ended, LISA, the Thai-born member of BLACKPINK, revealed her new solo era.
Her first single, “SaWaDiKa,” takes its name from the Thai greeting “สวัสดีค่ะ” and will be released on 3 September.
LISA also announced a new EP, “PRESS PLAY,” which is set for release on 23 October. Pre-save and pre-order options are now available.
She announced the project on Instagram on 24 August, writing: “EP PRESS PLAY. Out Oct 23. First single SaWaDiKa. Out Sept 3.”
PRESS PLAY follows LISA’s debut solo album Alter Ego, released in February 2025, which featured the tracks “Rockstar,” “New Woman,” “Moonlit Floor” and “Born Again.”
The global billboard campaign has given LISA’s upcoming comeback a distinctly Thai touch, with “SaWaDiKa” set to introduce her next solo chapter to fans around the world.
