Thai rising star NENE ROYAL brought a strong touch of Thai identity to the America’s Got Talent 2026 Live Show, turning heads with an elaborate stage outfit inspired by Thailand’s art, culture and traditional craftsmanship.
The Phuket-born performer has already secured her place in the show’s final, and appeared in the latest Live Show with an outfit designed around the concept “LET’S ROCK TO THE WORLD” — a message aimed at showing audiences around the world the beauty and power of Thai identity.
In a Facebook post, NENE ROYAL said the outfit was more than fashion, bringing together “the stories of Thailand, art, culture, family and dreams” in a single look.
The outfit features a vest by Thai fashion brand TiTA Style, combining traditional Thai textiles with leather for a contemporary rock-inspired design.
The front of the vest uses Pha Dutdao, a handwoven textile from a weaving group in Nong Bua Lamphu province, highlighting the skill and craftsmanship of Thai textile makers.
Inside the vest is Pha Pate Chinese key-patterned fabric, symbolising success. The pattern is intentionally hidden inside the vest and revealed when the zipper is opened, adding a symbolic detail to the design.
Traditional Thai jewellery elements, including the sangwan, belt, earrings, chains and gold buttons, were also redesigned and incorporated into a statement chest piece with a contemporary aesthetic.
For the lower half of the outfit, NENE ROYAL wears a covering made from Mudmee silk, featuring the historic Pha Poom Manchakiri, also known as Sompak Poom, from Manchakiri district in Khon Kaen province.
The textile is known for its intricate Mudmee patterns and distinctive border motifs. According to NENE ROYAL, the textile has a history dating back from the Ayutthaya period through the Rattanakosin era and was once associated with ceremonial dress and the ranks of nobles.
Gold detailing was added along the Chinese key motifs to make the textile catch the stage lights, while sections of the original Mudmee pattern remain visible.
Gold accessories were also used to represent elegance, auspiciousness and value, while strengthening the outfit’s Thai character.
The design includes gold-coloured crystal braiding, metal detailing and a gold-plated chain inspired by the traditional sangwan. The chain was redesigned as a waist accessory to give the outfit a rock-inspired edge, while floral motifs and dark gemstones add a feminine touch.
With the latest look, NENE ROYAL continues to use the America’s Got Talent stage to showcase Thai craftsmanship and culture — blending traditional elements with a modern rock aesthetic as she heads toward the competition’s final.
