BANGKOK — With “Beauty and The Beast” in theaters making money, Disney is trotting out its stable of beloved characters onto the ice once again during Thailand’s simmering summer.
The cold is unlikely to bother anyone when Disney favorites step into the rink and perform in an ice skating spectacular for audiences to sing and dance along to with hit songs from Disney films.
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and friends will lead audiences down the Disneyland memory lane. Reigning over all, the royal sisters Elsa and Anna from “Frozen” will be featured along with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Aladdin and Jasmine, Simba, Timon and Pumbaa from “The Lion King,” Buzz and Woody from “Toy Story,” and other memorable characters from “Finding Dory,” “Tangled,” “The Little Mermaid” and “The Princess and The Frog.”
Tickets run from 600 baht to 2,500 baht and can be purchased online.
The shows are performed in Thai with an English performances at 10:30am on Saturday and 6:30pm on Sunday.
The show is set to run March 30 through April 2 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. The indoor stadium can be reached by van, taxi or Impact Link shuttle via BTS Mo Chit exit No. 4 or MRT Chatuchak Park exit No. 3.
