BANGKOK — Move like its 2011 again when an American pop band returns to the capital next year.
As part of their current tour promoting their sixth studio album, “Red Pill Blues,” Maroon 5 will stop by Bangkok, the band announced Tuesday.
The concert, set for March, will be their fifth in Bangkok. Their September 2015 show sold out so quickly that a second show was added a day later. Fans last night expressed their excitement on social media.
“Woah, Maroon 5 is touring again! I’m screaming, OMG!!!” @Onezday wrote on Twitter.
Maroon 5, of Los Angeles, was founded in 1994 and is headed by singer Adam Levine. Although their more recent singles are Top 40 staples such as “Girls Like You” and “Wait,” it’s hard to forget their high-pitched earworms “Sugar,” “Animals” and “Moves Like Jagger.”
The group is also known for their noughties hits such as “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved.”
The concert will take place March 9. Tickets are 3,000 baht and available on ThaiTicketMajor from Nov. 3. The venue will be announced on a later date.
