BANGKOK — In a strategic move to diversify its portfolio, Talomsin Group, known for its operations in the plastic and electrical equipment industries, is entering the education sector with a 100 million baht ($2.9 million) investment in a new international preschool venture.

The company announced the launch of li’lberry International Preschool, which will operate under a franchise agreement with Singapore’s Mulberry Learning. The new institution, set to open its doors in August 2025, will be located in Bangkok’s Rama 3 area and will cater to children aged 18 months to 6 years.

“We’re introducing a genuine trilingual program incorporating English, Chinese, and Thai,” Talomsin told reporters. The curriculum will follow Singaporean education standards and integrate three core teaching philosophies: Reggio Emilia, Project Inquiry, and Habits of Mind Framework.

The investment comes amid growing demand for international education in Thailand. “The international school sector has seen significant growth over the past 3-4 years, driven by increasing parent interest in diverse curricula and multilingual education,” Talomsin noted. The new facility will have a capacity of 200 students.

This expansion marks Talomsin Group’s first venture into education, signaling the company’s strategy to capitalize on Thailand’s expanding international school market while maintaining its established presence in manufacturing and distribution.
