TOKYO, Japan – Queen Suthida met Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on 20 October during her visit to Japan.
The meeting reflects the long-standing ties between the Thai Royal Family and Japan’s Imperial Family, maintained through decades of diplomatic relations and royal exchanges between the two countries.
Queen Suthida is visiting Japan from 14 to 22 October at the invitation of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) president, in her role as the federation’s first Women’s Global Ambassador. She attended the 2027 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s Asia Championship in Sapporo from 15 to 18 October and presented awards to athletes.
