UNITED STATES — 1 July 2026, Eight-year-old Phannarin “Cherlyn” Srichaphan, daughter of former world No. 9 Thai tennis star Paradorn Srichaphan, delivered a stellar performance to claim the girls’ 7-8 age division title at the FCG International Championship 2026, held at St. Mark Executive Golf Course in the United States.
The tournament, organised by Future Champions Golf (FCG), an international youth golf development organisation headquartered in San Diego, California, took place on 29-30 June.
Cherlyn produced an outstanding performance over the two-day event. She opened with rounds of 27 and 25 for a first-day total of 52, two under par, before carding rounds of 29 and 24 to finish with 53, one under par, in the final round.
Her 36-hole total of 105, three under par (par 54), secured the championship in the girls’ 7-8 division.
The victory marks another international success for a young Thai golfer and follows in the athletic footsteps of her father, Paradorn Srichaphan, who once brought global recognition to Thai tennis. Cherlyn has already demonstrated immense potential in golf, continuing to deliver strong performances in youth tournaments.
