PHITSANULOK — 19 September 2026, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited Wat Ratchaburana in Phitsanulok on Friday to pay respects and seek blessings before traveling to New York for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Anutin visited the temple with his wife, Thanonn Charnvirakul, during the weekend break.
He is scheduled to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) in New York from Sept. 20–27.
Anutin later posted photos from the temple visit on his personal Facebook page, writing that he had gone to pay respects to Phra Phuttha Chinnarat in Phitsanulok and seek blessings from Luang Pho Samlee at Wat Ratchaburana, including receiving a sacred yantra inscription on his palm.
