NAN — 8 August 2026, A 2.4-magnitude earthquake struck Wiang Sa district in Nan province, according to the Earthquake Observation Division of the Meteorological Department.
The quake occurred at 10:09am, with its epicentre in Nam Muap subdistrict at a depth of 2 kilometres. The epicentre was recorded at coordinates 18.463, 101.003.
Authorities said further updates would be provided if there is any additional information.
