The achievements comprise five awards at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026, organized by HR Asia, a leading human resources publication in Asia. GULF was named Best Company to Work for in Asia for the third consecutive year, alongside four category awards for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Sustainable Workplace, Tech Empowerment, and People Transformation. GULF also received the Excellence in Use of HR Tech (Bronze) award at the HR Excellence Awards 2026 Thailand, organized by Human Resources Online, a leading HR media and platform in Asia. The Best Company to Work for in Asia award recognizes outstanding organizations in the region based on their organizational culture, workplace environment, and commitment to supporting employees’ sustainable growth. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion award reflects GULF’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization, while the Sustainable Workplace award recognizes its approach to people management in line with the Group’s commitment to sustainable business practices.
As part of its efforts to prepare both its people and the organization for the future, GULF received the People Transformation award for the first time, recognizing its approach to building future-ready capabilities through upskilling and reskilling initiatives that equip employees for change in the digital era. Meanwhile, the Tech Empowerment and Excellence in Use of HR Tech (Bronze) awards from the two platforms reinforce a shared direction in leveraging digital technologies and AI across HR management. These technologies are being applied to improve operational efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and support management decision-making, enabling the HR function to play an increasingly important role in supporting GULF’s business strategy and growth. GULF previously received the Excellence in Talent Acquisition award from the HR Excellence Awards in 2022.

The HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia awards are organized annually by HR Asia, a leading human resources publication in Asia, to recognize organizations that demonstrate excellence in people management. The assessment considers comprehensive employee survey results together with organizations’ approaches to employee care and development. The awards are held annually across multiple markets in Asia, including Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and Thailand.
The HR Excellence Awards, organized by Human Resources Online, a leading human resources media and platform in Asia, recognize organizations, teams, and HR professionals for outstanding achievements in people management, organizational strategy, and workplace innovation. The awards were first held in Singapore in 2012 before expanding to Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, and Thailand, where the awards were first held in 2021.
