LONDON, UK — The Royal Thai Embassy in London has opened “Thai Festival: Thailand Showcase 2026” at Potters Fields Park, near Tower Bridge, showcasing Thai culture, cuisine, craftsmanship and creative industries.

The festival opened on 17 July, with Thai Ambassador to the UK Nadhavathna Krishnamra joined by Southwark Deputy Mayor Patrickson Obanya, members of Team Thailand in London, business representatives and media.

The event, held in the London Borough of Southwark for the first time, is organized under the theme “Creative Life and Creative Heartbeat”, highlighting Thailand’s creativity through food, arts, wellness, tourism, innovation and traditional crafts.
The embassy said London was selected as one of 12 flagship cities among 43 Thai Festival locations worldwide this year, reflecting the importance of Thailand-UK cultural and economic ties.

Visitors can enjoy Thai cultural performances, Muay Thai demonstrations, cooking shows, Thai products and family activities during the three-day festival, which runs from 17-19 July.
More than 30,000 visitors attended on the first day, with total attendance expected to exceed 90,000 over the weekend, according to the Royal Thai Embassy.
