BANGKOK — Thai Anti-Trafficking Police (ATPD) conducted a major operation today, arresting an international network of content creators who had established Thailand as their base for global online distribution.
The group, comprising both foreign nationals and Thai citizens, had set up a sophisticated operation exploiting Thai women and transgender individuals at tourist locations and public places.
Following extensive investigation, authorities arrested seven suspects across multiple locations in Bangkok, Chonburi, and Suvarnabhumi Airport on December 9. The suspects include British national Benjamin (40), German national Volker (48), Serbian national Zvezdan (32), Russian national Andrei (34), and three Thai nationals: Thanasin (30), Saengthian (26), and Ms. Ratana (36).
Thai authorities have uncovered an alleged international adult content ring operating across multiple online platforms, leading to the arrest of several foreign suspects. The investigation revealed a well-organized network with clearly defined roles among its members. Most suspects have confessed to the charges, according to authorities.
Andrei allegedly ran the largest operation, producing content featuring group encounters between foreigners and Thai individuals. The investigation led to the arrest of a well-known Thai content creator couple with over 600,000 followers.
Zvezdan allegedly created content as a foreign tourist in Thailand, soliciting both Thai women and transgender individuals for intimate encounters. He also recruited well-known Thai content creators for collaborations. His content was distributed across X, Instagram, TikTok, and OnlyFans, totaling over 200,000 followers.
Volker allegedly produced content featuring foreigners engaging in intimate acts with pre-operation transgender individuals. The content was distributed across multiple channels, including X and OnlyFans, with over 150,000 followers.
Benjamin allegedly created content by inviting Thai women to ride in tuk-tuks for sightseeing, then engaging in intimate acts at various tourist locations. He advertised on X and his own website, accumulating approximately 140,000 followers.
The police are continuing their investigation and examining evidence for potential additional charges. The case has been transferred to the Investigation Division 2 of the ATPD for further legal proceedings.
This operation represents Thailand’s ongoing efforts to prevent international criminal networks from using the country as a base for illegal activities and to protect its reputation as a tourist destination.
