CHIANG MAI — A British man was arrested Thursday morning for spray painting a railway station wall.
William Brian Zielinski, 38, was fined 4,000 baht after railway employee Somkid Deeloy complained to police that he sprayed a wall at the Chiang Mai Railway station at about 9am.
The man, who initially denied any wrongdoing, was taken to the Mae Ping Police Station and reportedly confessed after Somkid showed officers a photo in which he appeared to tag the wall, Capt. Pongsak Tiwanna said.
After negotiation, Zielinski paid Somkid 4,000 baht to have the wall repainted before he was released.
