Under-Eye Bag Surgery Doctors in Thailand

For 2026, there are several clinics and doctors who excel at managing under-eye fat effectively. Let’s see which under-eye bag surgeons have earned the trust and impressive reviews from real patients.

1. Dr. Phuwit from ALINE Clinic

Dr. Phuwit Kongchayanan, or Dr. Phuwit, is a specialized facial plastic surgeon from ALINE Clinic in Nakhon Ratchasima. Besides being renowned as a highly skilled open structural rhinoplasty doctor, he also shines in under-eye bag surgery. He offers two techniques: an inner-incision approach that leaves no visible scars and requires no stitch removal, and an outer-incision technique that flawlessly hides the scar under the lower lash line. Utilizing the Fat Repositioning technique, he directly addresses sagging issues. He is undoubtedly one of the under-eye bag surgery doctors whom patients in Korat and nearby provinces consistently trust and visit.

2. Dr. Lin from inZ Hospital

Dr. Wanwisa Tansiricharernkul, or Dr. Lin, an ophthalmologist at inZ Hospital, is famous for her scarless under-eye fat removal technique. Her standout feature is that patients experience almost no pain and very minimal swelling and bruising post-surgery. Most importantly, there is no long recovery time needed—patients can return to their daily routines right away. The result is a naturally younger and brighter-looking face, without the worry of the fat accumulating again.

3. Dr. Atom from Surkin Clinic

Dr. Thanchat Jienmaneechotchai, or Dr. Atom from Surkin Clinic, is a specialized Oculoplastic surgeon and is widely considered one of the oculoplastic surgeons in Bangkok, Thailand. He utilizes a unique inner-incision (no outer scar) surgical technique. He rearranges the fat from the inside without any sutures protruding outward. This helps reduce the tear trough and prevents the eyes from looking hollow or pulled after surgery. Additionally, his special techniques ensure minimal swelling, quick recovery, and beautiful, long-lasting results.

4. Dr. Nui from Teeraporn Clinic

Dr. Nui Jutima, an ophthalmologist at Teeraporn Clinic, is another expert who comprehensively solves eye contour issues, making her one of the cosmetic surgeons under eye bags in Bangkok, Thailand. For under-eye bag removal, she uses the clinic’s special technique to hide the surgical incision on the inside. This allows for the maximum removal of excess fat without leaving any visible scars on the outer skin. Thai PM evades questions on refinery, fuel probe

Thai PM evades questions on refinery, fuel probe

BANGKOK — 8 April 2026, Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul declined to comment on several energy-related issues on Tuesday, offering only a brief reaction to questions from reporters.

Asked whether the United States–Iran two-week ceasefire signalled a positive development, Anutin responded with a nod.

When questioned about Energy Minister Ekkanat Promphan’s claim that two oil refineries had not cooperated in reducing refining margins, Anutin smiled but did not answer.

He also declined to respond when pressed on whether the refineries would be called in for further talks, as well as on a Department of Special Investigation (DSI) operation earlier in the day to inspect an oil depot in Lam Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani, over suspected fuel stockpiling.

Inside a huge compound on Thailand-Cambodia border where 10,000 workers scammed people globally

O’SMACH, Cambodia (AP) — I have often used the word industrial-scale in my own writing to describe the scam compounds that dot this region in Southeast Asia.

But the weight of that phrase truly sunk in at the O’Smach Resort complex that we visited on Tuesday. Thailand’s military, which conducted a tour for the media, said that the whole area encompasses around 197 acres (80 hectares), equivalent to 150 American football fields.

It wasn’t my first time at a scam center, but its scale dwarfed anything I had seen before.

From my base in the region, I have followed this issue for the past few years, watching its scale only grow larger and larger.

Scam compounds have mushroomed across Southeast Asia since the pandemic. Inside these industrial-scale complexes, workers attempt to lure unsuspecting targets from countries all across the world in sophisticated online-based scams. The latest estimates from the U.N. office on Human Rights are that around 300,000 workers are caught up in the industry regionally.

Thailand’s military invited journalists back to the huge scam complex it seized in December during its border conflict with Cambodia. The military said it took the area in response to the Cambodian side using it as a base of operations for launching attacks.

The complex was called the O’Smach Resort, owned by Cambodian politician Ly Yong Phat, who faces U.S. sanctions for rights abuses in the very same complex. It’s unclear, however, whether the new construction also belongs to Ly. Throughout the massive grounds of the self-contained town, there were signs of construction. Piles of bricks and construction cranes sat waiting for workers to finish the job.

The military also took us to the premises where workers likely scammed Americans. FBI data released on Tuesday shows that Americans lost near $21 billion to scams in 2025 alone.

On the desks inside a four-story office building were still snacks from the previous users, as well as scripts and notes in Chinese on each aspect of the scam. American SIM cards were scattered about as well.

There was an elaborate backstory to target the Americans. One of the scripts on the desk was 24 pages of an in-depth character sketch of a woman named Mila who had earned a lot of money on the gold options trading market.

But the script went further. Mila had lost her husband to leukemia when their daughter was just a baby. It constructed memories of her childhood, such as her getting bullied by other girls, and then her parents sending her to South Africa to live with her uncle in order to be in a healthier environment.

There are 157 buildings, 29 of which housed the scam companies and their offices. The rest included massive dorm complexes, and more luxurious accommodations that included apartments and three-story villas. The military officials said they estimated that at least 10,000 people were living there.

There was also a variety of Chinese restaurants, catering to people who wanted spicy Hunan cuisine, or southern Shaxian cuisine, or hot and sour rice noodles, a Sichuanese classic.

While Thailand and Cambodia have vowed to tackle the scamming problem, its scale is far more global.

“Every country of the world has to join together to solve this problem, (we) cannot do it alone with Cambodia and Thailand,” said Air Chief Marshal Prapas Sornchaidee, who was one of the officials leading the tour.

Bangkok opens new park aerobics stage to promote health

BANGKOK — 7 April 2026, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt has inaugurated a new aerobics stage at Lumphini Park, aimed at expanding public access to exercise spaces and encouraging healthier lifestyles.

The stage was donated by food delivery platform LINE MAN in collaboration with “Dada”, Miss Grand Kalasin, who also led the aerobics session during the opening event at 18:00.

The atmosphere was lively, with participants of all ages joining the activity, many dressed in colourful outfits that added vibrancy to the park.S 434987076

One highlight was a group wearing traditional Thai costumes while exercising. The participants, who said they are regular runners, noted that their previous appearance in such attire had gone viral online. They said the idea was intended to promote Thai “soft power” and showcase cultural identity to international audiences.

Despite the elaborate costumes, they said the outfits did not hinder their ability to exercise.

A large number of young people also arrived early to secure spots close to the stage, saying visibility of the instructor was important. Many travelled via the MRT, which provides convenient access to the park.

Dada said she did not expect her participation to attract such attention, adding that she enjoys exercise and was pleased to see strong turnout.

“I’m happy to lead the session and see so many people taking part. It’s good that people are turning to exercise and taking care of their health,” she said.

Authorities said crowd management has improved following earlier concerns that aerobics activities were encroaching on running paths. Security personnel were deployed to ensure the exercise area did not obstruct runners.

Chadchart said the city would continue to support accessible exercise spaces and plans to expand similar aerobics stages to other communities to improve residents’ quality of life.

Miss World 2025 responds to Cambodian netizens’ backlash over Phanom Rung attire

Opal Suchata Chuangsri, Miss World 2025, has addressed online criticism from Cambodian netizens following her appearance in elaborate traditional Thai attire during the annual Phanom Rung Festival, saying she believes the Miss World organisation will not remove her photos and can distinguish cultural context.

Opal appeared in a regal ancient costume portraying Queen Bhupati Indralakshmi Devi during the 2026 Phanom Rung Festival procession, where she was carried on a palanquin up the historic sanctuary in Buriram province. The moment drew widespread admiration in Thailand, but also sparked backlash online, with some foreign users claiming cultural appropriation and urging the Miss World Organization to delete her images.

Speaking to reporters on 7 April, Opal said participating in the ceremony felt like a “perfect moment in life,” as her schedule allowed her to remain in Thailand between 10–15 April, aligning with the festival. She noted she had specifically requested to stay in the country during that period before travelling abroad on 15 April.

“I used to see this as something distant from my life. I never imagined I would one day sit on a palanquin in such an important procession,” she said. “It made me proud of how far I have come.”

She admitted feeling nervous during the ceremony, particularly due to the steep and narrow laterite stairway leading up to Phanom Rung. “It is not a flat path. The steps are small and steep, which made the procession physically challenging,” she said, adding jokingly that she would have tried to lose weight in advance had she known she would take part.

660089345 18101465654304535 2132202751384380796 n 1

Before the procession, Opal said she performed a ritual apology and paid respects to the soldiers carrying the palanquin, acknowledging the sensitivity of being elevated above others during the ceremony.

On the spiritual aspect, Opal said she remained composed and silent throughout the ritual to fully embody the role. She recalled a striking moment when a brightly coloured butterfly flew past just before she boarded the palanquin.

“From a scientific perspective, it reflects how rich the environment is. But in terms of belief, I felt it was a sign that my intentions were acknowledged,” she said, adding that she quietly made wishes for prosperity and career success.

Addressing the criticism, Opal said she and her team were not surprised by the reaction, as they had anticipated such responses. She stressed that it is natural for neighbouring countries to share similar cultural elements.

“It is not something negative or something we need to compete over,” she said. “What defines us, we should preserve and continue. As for what is historically shared, we should view it openly and positively. In the end, we are neighbours, and it is better not to be in conflict.”

She added that while attire in the region may appear similar, ceremonial practices in Buriram have distinct characteristics that differ from those in Cambodia.

Opal also dismissed calls for the pageant to remove her images, expressing confidence in the organisation’s judgment.

“There is no need to clarify anything. I believe an international organisation like Miss World, based in England, understands that countries in the same region often share cultural traits and can assess the facts appropriately,” she said.

Thai farmers switch to buffaloes as fuel costs rise

Thai farmers switch to buffaloes as fuel costs rise

CHACHOENGSAO — 7 April 2026, farmers in eastern Thailand are turning to traditional methods of ploughing fields with buffaloes as rising fuel prices drive up agricultural costs, offering a low-cost alternative to machinery.

In Khlong Luang Phaeng sub-district in Chachoengsao province, a local resident has drawn attention after offering buffaloes for rent to farmers seeking to reduce fuel expenses.

Wannanee Pluemsomboon, 51, said she has raised buffaloes for generations and has recently seen growing demand from farmers looking to replace fuel-powered equipment. Rental costs range from 5,000 to 6,000 baht per month, depending on the size of the land, with transport fees negotiated separately.

She said buffaloes suitable for ploughing are typically between three and five years old. One of her animals, named “Plai Fah”, stands nearly two metres tall and is capable of working efficiently in the fields.

The shift reflects broader efforts by farmers to adapt to sustained increases in fuel prices, which have affected multiple sectors of the economy, including transport and agriculture.

Local farmers say the use of buffaloes not only helps cut fuel costs but also preserves traditional farming practices, as production expenses continue to rise.

Thai tutor accused of hitting child with mobile phone

Thai tutor accused of hitting child with mobile phone

SARABURI — 7 April 2026, a private tutor has been accused of assaulting a seven-year-old boy by striking him on the head with a mobile phone, leaving him injured, in an incident that has shocked parents.

The boy’s father has filed a police complaint and refused compensation, while other parents have come forward alleging similar abuse in the past.

Reporters visited Saraburi Hospital in Pak Phriao subdistrict, Mueang district, where 41-year-old Pitak Saothi had taken his son, identified as “Keng” (pseudonym), for treatment to a head injury following the alleged assault.

Pitak said he had enrolled his son in extra classes during the school holidays at a tutor’s home in Soi Chanakorn 2, behind his house, to limit the child’s screen time. The boy had attended for just over a week when the incident occurred.

The tutor, later identified as Jiranan Phannin, also known as “Teacher Jit”, about 50, allegedly struck the boy on the head with a mobile phone after he answered three Thai-language test questions incorrectly. The child also reported having his ear pulled and being hit on the back.

“My son told me he had been hurt by the teacher before, since last week, but I didn’t fully believe him. Today, the teacher herself called to say she had hit his head with a phone, causing a wound,” Pitak said.

The father said the tutor admitted acting out of irritation, blaming the heat, and offered compensation of no more than 500 baht or suggested he take the matter to police. He declined the offer and filed an assault complaint at Mueang Saraburi Police Station, insisting the case proceed through the legal system to prevent similar incidents.

After the case was shared on social media, numerous parents commented and provided information alleging prior abuse by the same tutor, including an incident in which a child’s lip was split after being struck with a notebook.

Doctors said the boy’s injury did not require stitches and was a minor open wound. He remains under observation pending further examination, while investigators are summoning those involved for questioning.

Police said the case is under investigation, with evidence being gathered for further legal proceedings.

TEL AVIV — The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a high-alert warning to Thai citizens in Israel as tensions escalate between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other.

In a Facebook post on 7 April 2026, the embassy warned that the conflict could increasingly threaten the lives and property of civilians. Thai nationals were urged to strictly follow public safety instructions from the Israeli military’s front command and to stay updated through the embassy’s official Facebook and TikTok channels.
