The SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Center of Thailand (Public Organization) or SACICT invites Thais to visit a big event, and to buy the crafts as gifts or souvenirs for your beloved ones on the Mother’s Day at “Heart Tied by Arts and Crafts, A New Way of the Handicraft Arts under the Royal Patronage” event, to be held on August 1-5, 2020 at Hall 5, 6 and 7, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
Mr. Pornpon Akathaporn, Chief Executive Officer of SACICT said that on August 1-5, 2020, “Heart Tied by Arts and Crafts, A New Way of the Handicraft Arts under the Royal Patronage” event would be held to honor His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
This event gathers crafts and arts created by master artisans of Thailand, master craftsmen, and heritage artisans as well as SACICT members in over 400 booths. Therefore, this is a good opportunity to get some favorite gifts or souvenirs for your important persons on the Mother’s Day on August 12.
The SACICT is proud to present Thai crafts as an alternative as they contain much delicacy and attraction, and all are handmade, e.g. woven fabric, basketry, earth ware, as well as other contemporary crafts designed for our modern life. This also helps support many Thai local people who have created these crafts as their career.
The event participants may enjoy with certain workshop activities by creating your DIY craft. Importantly, SACICT provides some public health measures for all visitors’ safety by checking the body temperature, and using the social distancing measure.
“Heart Tied by Arts and Crafts, A New Way of the Handicraft Arts under the Royal Patronage” is held on 1-5 August, 2020 at 10.00 – 20.00 hrs. at Hall 5, 6 and 7, Impact Muang Thong Thani. For more information, please call 1289 or SACICT Facebook.
