The PARQ Celebrates International Women’s Day with ‘SHE RISES,’ an Inspiring Event Praising Women’s Success

The PARQ supports International Women’s Day 2024 by organizing “SHE RISES”, a special event to inspire all women and celebrate women’s success in every aspect. The event also emphasizes social equality –integral to the mixed-use development focus on enhancing smart office and retail spaces. The “Life Well Balanced” concept allows the space to provide a balanced lifestyle and freedom to express self-identity.

Mr. Kamolnai Chaixanien, Executive Director of TCC Assets Thailand Co. Ltd. and an executive at The PARQ, said, “The PARQ continues to offer a well-rounded, balanced lifestyle with the ‘Life Well Balanced’ concept through lifestyle events. For International Women’s Day this year, we are honored by offering knowledge and positive perspectives, including new experiences that allow everyone to see the value in themselves and inspire women leaders, celebrities and experts in gender norms. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our special guests and business partners who share the same attitude in supporting equality and decreasing gender gaps in society. These messages underlie the purpose of this event at The PARQ.”

Ms. Cris Horwang, an accomplished actress and Co-Founder of Vienn Groups Co., Ltd., revealed her secrets for boosting confidence, “I believe every woman has potential. We will know what we are capable of when we love ourselves enough. I want everyone to be proud and happy with their small success. These positive feelings will strengthen a mindset commonly found in strong women we are supposed to be.”

“Although gender equality is increasing, some women are still reluctant to share their opinions because they think their ideas are not good enough. This is probably because of their upbringing, family, or work environment inequality. These inequalities cause a lack of confidence in women, making them feel unaccepted and not brave enough to say what they think. For me, the ability to present our ideas and to think differently is very important. This ability reflects whether we respect ourselves enough. Seeing value in ourselves means not letting others’ judgment devaluate us. It’s not about whether your idea is chosen; it’s about doing our best,” said Ms. Wanida Praparat, the founder and CEO of Vienn Groups Co., Ltd.

Ms. Natasha Soontornvinate, the partner and managing director of Holistic Medical Centre, said, “Being a working woman is not easy; being a working woman with two children is much more difficult. The keys to handling these two important roles start with a balanced mind. Whenever you are sensitive, it’s a sign for you to take a mental break. It’s not weakness; it’s learning to listen to your heart. Your heart might tell you your motivations, such as your love for your kids. The motivations will be to improve or prepare your loved ones to grow. Importantly, we should not devalue ourselves or limit our abilities because women like us can handle different roles, both work life and personal life, without sacrificing ourselves.”

The talk ended with tips from Mr. Apichat Jariyawilas, M.D., Me Center’s founder and medical director, on how to break free from anxiety and develop a strong mentality. The psychiatrist explained, “To be a strong woman who is confident and happy woman, there is no need to tolerate everything in our lives. Surviving means knowing how to love, soothe, and forgive ourselves. We should fill our minds with positive energy by releasing negative energy and getting our minds ready to deal with whatever life throws at us. It’s a mentality we should have every day, not just on some specific days.”
