Join us for activities that promise new experiences including the 3x3Basketball Tournament. In collaboration with Hoops Station, the event features superstars, celebrities, and national athletes to boost energy and color to the competition.
Furthermore, JAY FLOW, a renowned South Korean street artist will co-create and collaborate with his colorful and catchy graffiti artwork that blends street art with a sense of fun. Along with the cast from Playboyy The Series includes Khao Oat–Supasilp, Shell-Thakrit, and Dech-Narongdech. They will join in for some basketball shooting at the Discovery Plaza, Siam Discovery.

Moreover, partnering with Hoops Station, we are kicking off a basketball arena for a thrilling competition, offering athletes the chance to earn FIBA (The International Basketball Federation) ranking points along with cash prizes, and other rewards for the winners.

Songkran Festival in Bangkok this year will be even more special and enjoyable as Siam Discovery brings JAY FLOW, a world-renowned artist to collaborate and create artwork. JAY FLOW is a well-known graffiti artist from South Korea. His works are featured in festivals and exhibitions worldwide.
He joins us to design graffiti artwork for the basketball court at Siam Discovery with the essence of Songkran festivities and the excitement of the basketball competition. JAY FLOW describes that the work was inspired by his lifestyle, graffiti, music, dance, and friends. The characters designed for this project are under the theme of “Neighborhood,” which was inspired by colleagues across different fields. With the essence and vibe of Siam Discovery, this artwork invites everyone to explore, discover, and endlessly experiment.
The highlight of “Siam Discovery The Summer Exploratorium – Discovery Playground” is the HOOPS STATION 3X3 SUMMER FEST 2024, a 3×3 Basketball Tournament organized by Hoops Station, a flagship basketball store offering a comprehensive range of basketball products.
This event is held in collaboration with Siam Discovery and features national athletes who have competed in the Asian Games and SEA Games. Leading players include Chanachon Klahan, Sukhdave Ghogar, Jittaphon Towaroj, Phawadee Kunchaun, and Chatphol Jaeungyampin. The tournament runs from April 3 to 16, 2024.
Kwanpong Chuenrudeemol, Managing Director of Hoops 360 said that Hoops Station is the leading comprehensive basketball brand in the Southeast Asian region. He mentioned that 3×3 basketball is a game of three players playing on a half-court. Currently, this sport is certified by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which oversees basketball internationally. Typically, each team consists of four players, with three on the court and one reserve.
Substitutions can be made at any time during the game without notifying the referee by simply tapping hands on the court. The game duration is only 10 minutes or until one team scores 21 points. It requires a variety of skills, including agility and physical strength. Players must continuously run to find scoring opportunities while observing and analyzing the opponent’s movements to secure victory for their team. This competition also offers cash prizes and numerous rewards.
Additionally, there will be a Hoops Station Pop-Up featuring sports shoes from Adidas and a Personalization activity where attendees can customize their shirts with artwork by JAY FLOW, specially designed for this event.
