It’s Official: Spotify Finally Coming to Bangkok

BANGKOK — Great news for streaming music fans: Spotify is definitely on its way.

Speculation that the online music service would be coming to Thailand ended Thursday with the Swedish company announcing Spotify was ready to open in Bangkok, with an event to be held Aug. 22.

“Be patient. We’ll reveal more details soon,” it said.

Music streaming services available in the country now are Deezer, Joox, KKBox, Line Music or Apple Music.
