BANGKOK — There will definitely not be any noise complaints, bad spots or shouting to be heard at this club night.
Head to Thonglor later this month and strap on some wireless headphones to party in a quiet room at Beam’s first silent rave.
Nylon Silent Disco will concurrently stream three styles of music from the decks of three Trasher Bangkok DJs. Pop beats will be provided by DJ Jojo, techno house from DJ YP and rock from DJ Tripop.
How does it work? Each reveler gets headphones that can be dialed into three channels of music. They display a different color for each channel to clue other revelers into what you are shaking it to.
The event starts at 6pm on May 27 at Beam on Soi Thonglor 16. Tickets, which include a drink and the headphones, are 500 baht. They are available online.
