Officials have investigated surrounding witnesses and examined CCTV footage as evidence. They submitted a request for the court to approve an arrest warrant for Mr. Aamir Jamilmalik, age 40, a Canadian and Pakistani national, on July 23, on charges of embezzlement. Currently, officials are gathering related documentary evidence to be translated for submitting a request for an Interpol notice.

Mr. Rajesh provided information that Mr. Aamir told him he had a customer interested in buying gems and needed to take the gems for the customer to see. Previously, he had entrusted gems to Mr. Aamir to show customers, trusting him due to their long acquaintance. In cases where customers were not interested or did not choose to buy, Mr. Aamir would return the gems.

However, on the latest occasion on July 17, after he handed over the gems at a luxury hotel on Charoen Krung Road, he was unable to contact Mr. Aamir again.
