BANGKOK — The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has uncovered that three children of Cambodian Senator Kok An obtained Thai citizenship through fraudulent birth registrations and are currently operating five businesses in Thailand.
The revelation came as part of a broader investigation into the network of Vincent Chen Zhi, founder of Prince Holding Group, who was designated by U.S. authorities for involvement in transnational crime and online fraud along with 43 associated individuals.
DSI’s Justice Administration Affairs Division is examining whether any businesses operating in Thailand are connected to this criminal network. Investigators have requested information from the Department of Business Development and the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) to review business registrations and financial transactions.
Fraudulent Citizenship Scheme Uncovered
Among the 43 individuals under investigation, Cambodian Senator Kok An emerged as having the clearest connection to operations in Thailand. Working with confidential information from AMLO and intelligence agencies, the Department of Provincial Administration found that Kok An operates businesses potentially linked to casinos, human trafficking, money laundering, and online scams.

Three of Kok An’s children—Ms. Juree, Ms. Phuchoenlin, and Mr. Kittisak Klongkitjakol—obtained Thai citizenship by falsely claiming Thai parentage in delayed birth registrations at Phon Thong District Office in Roi Et Province. They used Thai nationals who were not their actual parents to fraudulently register their births.
“All three never legally possessed Thai citizenship from the start,” DSI officials stated. “They are now considered aliens without the right to reside in Thailand and will face legal proceedings for fraudulent birth registrations.”
Both Kok An and his children are suspects in a Technology Crime Investigation Division case, charged with participation in transnational organized crime.
Following the citizenship revocations, DSI investigators found that Kok An’s three children are involved with approximately five service companies in Thailand as company directors. The DSI expects to release more details about these companies this week.
The Ministry of Commerce will determine whether these businesses can continue operating.
