PHITSANULOK — A gunman killed at least three people at a state radio station in Phitsanulok province on Wednesday, police said.
Police identified the suspect as Wim Sonsuk, a mechanic working for National Broadcasting Services of Thailand, who was arrested after the deadly shooting.
Wim reportedly opened fire at his colleagues due to “workplace conflicts,” according to the police. The gunfire killed the radio station director and two electricians. One person was also injured.
Police said Wim spared a female employee, saying he would not hurt women. The suspect reportedly called the police after gunning down the three victims.
Officers arriving at the scene found two handguns on Wim. The suspect is currently in custody.
