ICONSIAM Illuminates the Chao Phraya River with Dazzling Lights as part of ‘Vijit Chao Phraya 2023’ – A December Extravaganza for All to Enjoy!

This moment is celebrated through the enchanting light show, ‘ICONSIAM: The Glorious Splendor of Faith’ which is an element of the ‘Vijit Chao Phraya 2023’ event. This collaborative effort, arranged by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in partnership with both public and private sector partners, creates a breathtaking display of lights along the Chao Phraya River.
It is a significant component of the ‘Thailand Winter Festival’ project, a grand event unfolding throughout the entirety of December 2023.

ICONSIAM will host a captivating light and sound show four times daily, from December 1 to 31, commencing at 6:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Additional spectacle is the “ICONIC Multimedia Water Features” show. Recognized as the longest water dance show in Southeast Asia, this extraordinary presentation seamlessly blends light, sound, and multimedia elements.
The water dance performance combines diverse multimedia presentations, intricately weaving together Thai culture and traditions to create a harmonious and culturally rich experience. The show’s grandeur is affirmed by the Gold STEVIE Awards in 2019 within the Art, Entertainment & Public – Art Event category at the 16th edition of the International Business Awards.
This show stands as another source of pride for ICONSIAM, showcasing a new Thailand’s world-class attraction along the banks of the Chao Phraya River. This year’s edition is particularly noteworthy as TAT has extended the show duration to span the entire month of December 2023. The Chao Phraya River during nighttime is infused with a vibrant display of innovative lights, colors, and modern mixed media. The program incorporates cutting-edge techniques such as projection mapping and lighting, coupled with creative integration of culture, resulting in a distinctly modern and visually stunning experience.
The show elements encompass light decorations, image projections on buildings, mesmerizing firework displays, and culturally rich performances, among others. These elements are set to be located at significant points along the Chao Phraya River, spanning the section between Krung Thon Bridge and Rama 3 Bridge in Bangkok.
