Watch the King’s Orchestra Play the Royal Plaza

BANGKOK — Experience oldies and classics rendered by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra this Saturday night in a historic district of Bangkok.

The band, which is under royal patronage, will take to an outdoor stage at 7pm in the Royal Plaza in the Dusit area. The event is organized by His Majesty the King, who has recently ordered a renovation campaign in the vicinity.

According to an online post published by state agencies Wednesday, the concert will feature songs penned by King Vajiralongkorn’s father, the late King Bhumibol, and other classic ballads.

The public is also encouraged to pay respect to the plaza’s statue of King Rama V. Entry is free.
