The Ministry of Commerce has officially opened “Thailand Local SDGs Plus Expo 2026,” bringing together more than 200 high-potential Thai entrepreneurs from across the country to expand trade opportunities and connect with new markets through Business Matching, Design & Innovation consultations, and MOU partnerships. The event is being held from 21–23 August 2026 at Hall 7, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, under the concept of “Shopping with Purpose.”
Ms. Bunjongjit Angsusingh, Advisor to the Minister of Commerce, said the Ministry continues to strengthen the competitiveness of regional entrepreneurs under its “MOC+” vision. The initiative encourages businesses to integrate sustainability into their operations and turn environmental and social responsibility into a competitive advantage, helping Thai products reach both domestic and international markets.
The Expo features more than 200 booths and over 1,000 products from all 76 provinces, covering food and beverages, fashion and jewellery, textiles and apparel, household and home décor, and health and beauty products. A special exhibition, “Thai Wisdom Towards Sustainable Fashion,” also showcases the development of Thai textiles and traditional craftsmanship through contemporary design for modern and international markets.
A key highlight is the Business Matching programme, which connects Thai producers with department stores, hotels, corporate buyers and international trading partners, with a target of generating at least THB 500 million in economic value. The Expo also offers sustainability-focused seminars and creative workshops, with all public activities and sessions open free of charge.
