BANGKOK, October 5, 2026 — Siam Piwat Group, the developer behind Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery and joint owner of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, has unveiled ICONPHUKET, a THB 10 billion development envisioned as a new global destination and landmark for Southern Thailand.
The project brings together the cultural heritage, local wisdom, arts, lifestyles and economic potential of Southern Thailand’s 14 provinces, combining them with international standards and innovation to create new opportunities for tourism, investment, trade and creative industries.

Chadatip Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., said Siam Piwat’s 67-year journey has focused on creating developments that go beyond conventional real estate to become meaningful symbols for Bangkok and Thailand, while generating value for people, partners and communities.
“A truly iconic development must create shared value for people and communities, drive sustainable growth, and elevate Thailand’s standing on the global stage,” Chadatip said, citing the success of ICONSIAM as an example of a Thai-led development competing on the global stage.
With an investment of THB 10 billion, ICONPHUKET will feature a first-of-its-kind Hybrid Retail-Attraction and Entertainment Destination, with 12 world-class attractions. The project will form the centerpiece of Synthesis Ark Phuket, a THB 50 billion integrated mixed-use development spanning more than 500 rai and developed by CV Group of Companies.
More than 40% of ICONPHUKET will be dedicated to green and open spaces, while one-third will comprise attractions and entertainment. The development is designed to integrate tourism, entertainment, public spaces and nature, drawing inspiration from the natural and cultural identity of Southern Thailand.

The project is also being developed as a future-ready Smart City, incorporating green technologies, resource management systems and smart mobility solutions. Siam Piwat estimates that ICONPHUKET could support 50,000–80,000 jobs from construction through full operations, while creating opportunities for SMEs, community enterprises and local products from the 14 southern provinces.
Under Siam Piwat’s “Co-Creation & Collaboration to Win” strategy, the project brings together public and private sector partners, including representatives of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and YEC from all 14 southern provinces, to develop a “Southern Thailand Vision Master Plan.”
“ICONPHUKET will serve as a national platform for collaboration… to help shape the future of Southern Thailand,” Chadatip said. She added that the project aims to strengthen the region’s competitiveness and create new opportunities in investment, tourism and the creative economy. Once fully operational, ICONPHUKET is expected to attract 80,000–100,000 visitors per day.
ICONPHUKET is scheduled to open in 2029, with further details to be announced in the coming months.
