Hino We Care makes a progress in the Hino Solar Powering a Sustainable Tomorrow Project by installing the 5th solar cell panel device at Tawaklongtrong School in Samuth Prakarn Province on January 26, 2024.
Mr. Ken Iwamoto, president, together with executives and Chairatchakarn (Bangkok) Co., Ltd. precided the 5th location of installation under the Hino We Care project, with the concept of “Hino Solar Powering a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
Hino perceives the importance of clean energy which plays an important role in improving people’s quality of life, including an increase in the opportunity to access better education, environmental sustainability, focus on the commitment to creating social values, in accordance with sustainable business operations.
“Hino Solar Powering a Sustainable Tomorrow” involves an option for clean energy. Hino has installed 10 solar cell panels, which generate an average of 550 Watts per month. This helped to reduce the school’s electricity burdens and bills by 36,000 baht per year. As a result, the school is able to allocate the saved budget to develop and improve the school’s affairs and operations.
On the occasion, Mr. Kittisak Chaiwaree, Acting School Director of Tawaklongtrong school said “Thank you Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd. for perceiving the importance of education, and supporting the solar cell device installation. The installation will save the school in terms of electricity bills and expenses. The saved money will be used for the improvement and development of instructional media systems or even facilities. Students are supported in the aspects of better quality of life and sustainable development, at the same time.”
