CHONBURI — 13 September 2026, Ten-year-old go-karting sensation Phattharaphon “Lotto” Pun-ngam announced himself on the national stage by winning the annual ROK Cup Thailand 2026 title after finishing on the podium in all four rounds of the season.
The final round of the ROK Cup Thailand 2026 national championship was held at Bira Kart Circuit in Chonburi on 12-13 September, with Lotto competing in the Mini ROK U10 class for newcomer team Kartwerks.
Driving car No. 59, Lotto battled at the front throughout the final round before crossing the finish line second in 13:45.653.
Chotthanin Ittiachararat of Top One Motorsport won the race in 13:45.358, just 0.295 seconds ahead of Lotto, while Phannaphat Prawatrungreung finished third in 13:46.236.
The second-place finish gave Lotto enough points to move to the top of the overall championship standings. He finished the four-round season with 140 points, ahead of Achira Phianphak of NRT Racing Team on 101 points and Chotthanin on 97.
Lotto’s championship campaign was marked by consistent podium finishes throughout the season.
He opened the season by winning the first round and continued his strong form in Round 2, where he topped qualifying with a fastest lap of 57.169 seconds before winning the 15-lap final in 15:56.872. He finished more than four seconds ahead of runner-up Joshua Tan.
In Round 3, Lotto again set a strong qualifying time of 57.216 seconds per lap before finishing third in a closely contested final.
Achira won that race in 14:34.757, followed by Chotthanin in 14:34.937. Lotto finished just 0.376 seconds behind the winner in 14:35.133.
He then secured another second-place finish in the final round to complete a podium run across all four rounds and collect enough points to claim the 2026 ROK Cup Thailand championship.
The title marks a breakthrough for Lotto, who is only in his second year of serious karting competition. It is also the first competitive season for Kartwerks, which is managed by team owner and manager Win Chariya Nuya.
A former national karting champion, Nuya has used his experience to guide the young driver in training, kart setup and race strategy, helping Lotto’s No. 59 machine remain competitive throughout the season.
Other championship winners in the ROK Cup Thailand 2026 season included Chinnaphat Wechaphuti, who topped the Mini ROK standings with 145 points, narrowly beating Setthaphat Theeraphatbuawong on 143.
In the Junior ROK GP, Kawin Suphawanishayanon finished first with 143 points.
Poch Khongchon topped the Rookies Junior ROK GP standings with 141 points, while Yehonatan Moshe won the Senior ROK GP title with 150 points.
In the Expert ROK GP, Ian Whillock finished first with 80 points.
