Last year’s Carabao held Carabao-Chelsea Coach the Coaches, a coach education workshop to local football coaches in Thailand. The workshop, aiming at enhancing coaching skillset for Thai trainers at youth levels, was instructed by the highly-skilled coaching staff from Chelsea Football Club with 21-year experience in 31 countries in 6 continents. After the success of last year’s campaign, this year Carabao has launched the Carabao Grassroots Football to support the local communities that are in need of the sport equipment. There have been a number of schools in the provinces receiving such supports. The latest effort saw Chelsea’s Bangkok-based football development officer Mr. Laurence Griffin organized and led football clinics for students and teachers at two schools in Chacheongsao provinces – Pimpawas and Theparajawittayakaan schools.
