This world’s tallest ROBBi art sculpture, showcased for the first time in Thailand and Southeast Asia at “ICONSIAM BANGKOK ILLUMINATION 2024 X ROBBi,” stands out with its striking metallic gold and silver hues that beautifully reflect the surrounding lights. Designed to appear as if floating in mid-air, it is positioned amid giant flowers with a relaxed seated posture, as though it is enjoying the vibrant lights and breathtaking views of the Chao Phraya River. This installation invites everyone to join in the immersive, celebratory atmosphere.

ICONSIAM also incorporates the traditional Thai “Kriab Mirror” into the Christmas tree decorations. This decorative technique is revived by artist Ratchapon Tajaya, an award-winning craftsman in the conservation of Ancient Thai Glass or Kriab Mirror, blending scientific techniques to enhance traditional craftsmanship.

The distinctive shimmer of ancient Thai glass, with its light-reflecting quality, is ideal for creating radiant sculptures and helps sustain this heritage craft for future generations.
