BANGKOK — Ever wanted to dance an evening away cruising past ancient temples to dance music for a good cause?

Party people can parlay their pleasure into some happiness for rural Northern folks when the second edition of the Karma Kruise drifts along the Chao Phraya River for a sunset cruise. Dance music will be heard bow to stern from DJs Ocean Lam (Hong Kong), Sunju Hargun (Bangkok), Moreno (Germany) and Coran (Australia).

Tickets are 1,000 baht until March 31st and 1,100 baht afterward. Only 240 tickets are available. They can be purchased online.

Apart from access to the cruise, partygoers will get one free drink on board and access to the official after-party starting at 9pm at Whiteline in Silom Soi 8.

All profits will go to support Warm Heart Worldwide, an NGO helping the rural mountain poor in northern Thailand and its campaign to stop the choking smoke created each year by agricultural fires in Chiang Mai province.

The boat departs at 4:30pm on April 8 from a dock at Asiatique The Riverfront, which can be reached by bus or ferry from BTS Saphan Taksin.
