Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) has joined forces with CP Group to donate food supplies for the field hospital in Thammasat University amid of the new wave of COVID-19 infections.
Mr. Siripong Aroonratana, CPF’s Chief Operating Officer – Livestock Business and Chief Operating Officer – Sausage and Ready-to-eat Business, presented 2,800 packs of ready-to-eat meal, drinking water and other food supplies from CP Intertrade under “CPF Food from the Heart against COVID-19” project to Associate Professor Dilok Piyayotai, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University; and Thammasat University Hospital Director Associate Professor Pharuhat Tor-Udom to aid medical staffs and volunteers working at the field hospital for COVID-19.
The handover ceremony at Thammasat University Hospital was also attended by CPF’s senior vice-presidents; Mrs. Punninee Nanthapanich, and Mr. Sornkrit Wattasiri, as well as Mr. Tienchai Jupattanakul, Assistant Vice-President at CP Intertrade.
Aside Thammasat University’s Field Hospital, CPF has supported ‘Erawan Hospital 1’, a 200-bed field hospital in Bang Bon, the Erawan Emergency Medical Center Bangkok and field hospital in Nonthaburi province, donating 12,880 packs of ready-to-eat product, 3,000 Boiled Herbal Egg and 4,410 bottles of drinking water in total.
