KMUTNB to Won Recognition in the THE Impact Rankings 2022 K

On 27 April 2022, Times Higher Education (THE), the largest and most diverse global university ranking, announced the THE Impact Rankings 2022 and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) was ranked among the world’s top 801 – 1000 universities, out of the overall 1,406 institutions across the world.

KMUTNB appeared in the rankings of the following dimensions:
SDG 6 – Clean water and sanitation 

SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy 

SDG 9 – Industry innovation and infrastructure

SDG 17 – Partnerships for the goals 

Comparing to the previous year, KMUTNB apparently has climbed in the ranking for SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy. This year, KMUTNB was ranked as the 2nd place of Thailand out of 19 universities, and the 58th place of the world, while KMUTNB was ranked as the 4th place of Thailand and among the world’s top 101 – 200 universities in the last year. Also, KMUTNB has been ranked as the 3rd place of Thailand and among the world’s top 101-200 in the ranking for SDG 9 – Industry innovation and infrastructure, and was ranked as the 4th place of Thailand and among the world’s top 401-600 in the ranking for SDG 9 – Industry innovation and infrastructure, and was ranked as the 4th place of Thailand and among the world’s top 401-600 for SDG 17 – Partnerships for the goals.

THE Impact Rankings 2022 compiled by Times Higher Education emphasized on the impact that the university contribute to the society and the evaluation based on the 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
