For the Olympic Games, which will be held from July 26, 2024, to August 11, 2024, Thai athletes will be participating in the competition. Pimol Srivikorn, President of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand, General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Thai Cycling Association, and View-Yaowapa Burapolchai, a former Thai national taekwondo athlete who won the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympic Games and currently serves as the President of the Thai Olympic Athletes Association, have all expressed their pride in Thai athletes who have made it through to compete in this global event. They invite all Thai people to support and cheer for the Thai athletes throughout the competition.
Pimol stated that sports help unite people in this country, transcending political “colors” and fostering unity through shared happiness. Taekwondo athletes might be a bit nervous because they are expected to help win medals in this Olympics, but everyone will try their best.
