A 14
year old boy was also killed during the cars chase.

The police were first alerted by the
family of Ms. Supawadee Sukjaras, 58, who told the officers she had been ambushed and kidnapped by
Mr. Somboon Nooraksa who had been lurking in front of her house.

Ms. Supawadee, a teacher,
had previously accused Mr. Somboon, who was serving as a Police Sergeant at the time, of raping her.
The Criminal Court had found the suspect guilty as charged, and he was subsequently given a
dishonourable discharge from the ranks by the police force.

Mr. Somboon contested the charge,
but the Appeals Court affirmed the lower court′s ruling. The case was being deliberated by the
Supreme Court, Ms. Supawadee′s family said, when the defendant tried to negotiate with Ms. Supawadee
to have her withdraw the charge, but the woman refused to do so.

After receiving the call
from Ms. Supawadee′s family, the police attempted to intercept Mr. Somboon. However, Mr. Somboon
managed to elude the officers by switching his license plate; the police believed he was listening
to the police radio frequency to keep track with the officers? operation.

With the police hot
on his trail, Mr. Somboon drove through many Districts before he ended up crashing into a 14 year
old boy who was riding his motorcycle in Prachuab Kiri Khan Province. The boy died at the scene,
while Mr. Somboon′s car was badly damaged.

Sensing that the chase was now over, Mr. Somboon
then shot Ms. Supawadee in her forehead and her chest before turning the gun on himself, according
to witnesses.

Mr. Somboon died of the gunshot wound on the way to
hospital.

The tournament, which pitched numerous Thai boxers against foreign challengers, was held at
Pattani′s Rainbow Stadium. According to Pol.Col. Tawee Sodsong, Secretary-General of Southern Border
Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), the number of attendees at the show had exceeded any expectation.

“We expected to see only 20,000 people” said the officer
“but 50,000 people was marvellous”.

The official continued
that “This is a good opportunity for the Southern locals to feel more secure about the
situation.”

Antoine Pinto,
a boxer who fought in the tournament, said it is his first time in the South, and he was surprised
to find out that the situation is much better than what I had imagined.

“I am glad that lots of
people paid attention to the game” said the French boxer “I was at first worried about the
situation, but once I arrived I found that everybody was really friendly.”

Mr. Suwat
Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister, also presided the event. It is the fourth Thai Fight Event
to be organised, but it is the first one to be hosted right in the turbulent South.

The
region had long been plagued with shadowy Islamist militant movements who are demanding an independence
of the Pattani State, the sultunate which once covered the four southern border provinces before it was
incorporated into modern-day Thailand.

The atmosphere at the venue was one of relief where people gathered to
enjoy a brief respite from the ongoing tension. Apart from the boxing match, a bird singing contest
was also organised, which had drawn much attention from the local attendees.

Previously, Ms. Sutatta ?Pan Pan? Udomsilpa was photographed taking the drug with her
friend. Her father admitted that the starlet had indeed tried the substances and offered an apology
on behalf of his daughter.

Ms. Sutatta had not spoken to the press until Friday, when she
attended the event celebrating the 11th anniversary of Nine Entertainment channel, along with her
father, Mr. Surasak Udomsilpa.

She told correspondents that she had recovered from all the
bad issues, and insisted that she never intends to hurt herself by taking drugs any more, stating
that it would hurt my parents million times more.

“I wish to apologise to all of you about
what happened, I will behave and spend more time with my family” said the Hormones actress,
adding that that she shares most of her life with her parents, and keep no secrets from
them.

Life must go on said her father, Mr. Surasak, I am here to support my daughter, but
she will be the one who determine her future acting career. According to Mr. Surasak, Ms. Sutatta
is currently living the life as a typical 16-year-old girl.

?Pan Pan? also addressed the
photo circulated on the social network showing her with a friend in a nightclub, which has caused a
minor controversy as the underaged actress cannot legally enter nightclubs.

She said she had
seen the picture but could not remember when it was taken. However, she clarified that she attended
the event, which was her friend’s birthday party, under the supervision of her father.

Mr.
Surasak then added “I apologise for any confusions, I was there with Pan-Pan on her friend’s
birthday party”.

Ms. Sutatta father also asked the public to let go of the past, while his
daughter insisted that “We should only look at the future”.

According to the actress and her
father, they are uncertain whether she would star in the second season of ‘Hormones’ series,
saying the decision ‘depends on the crew’, while Mr. Surasak wished his daughter ‘should spend time
more with herself, since she will attend her last year of high school soon’.  

Mr.
Surasak also said that he will impose more guidelines about coping with the celebrity life on his
daughter.

The team came as a third runner up in the 2013 Asian Women′s
Volleyball Championship which was hosted in Nakorn Ratchasrima Province earlier this month. The Thai
national team won the championship.

According to an official at the airport, the South
Koreans left the trophy and souvenirs at the check-in counter this morning, before departing
Thailand at 07.00.

Mr. Charnrit Wongprasert, director of National Volleyball Association,
said he believes the South Koreans did not deliberately intend to leave the items behind. If they
had the intention to do so, they would have thrown them away at their hotel in Koraj, said Mr.

But yet another astrologer, Mr. Pattana

member of the university security team what was going on, and he told her that  a 4-metre
python had taken shelter under her Toyata Yaris.

Mr. Amnaj Saengsawang, a snake catcher from
Pathum Thani province, was alerted by the security to retrieve the snake. After it had been
encircled for an hour, the snake was caught and will later be released into the wild.
