PHUKET — A video showing a foreign man dancing on a road median at a busy intersection in Phuket has sparked criticism and concern among social media users over road safety.
The clip, shared on Facebook on 17 May by user “Anintita Nameekul”, showed a man dressed in black dancing on the traffic island at the Nai Yang Beach intersection in Sakhu subdistrict, Thalang district, while vehicles continued passing through the junction.
The incident drew widespread attention online, with many users questioning whether the man was filming content for social media. Others expressed concern that the behaviour could lead to a serious accident due to the heavy traffic in the area.
Several commenters worried the man could suddenly fall or run into oncoming traffic, especially near large vehicles travelling through the intersection.
The video quickly circulated across local social media pages, generating mixed reactions ranging from amusement to criticism over the risky behaviour.
