CHONBURI— 30 June 2026, Khao Kheow Open Zoo has opened pre-orders for a special keepsake set featuring the tail print of Moo Deng, the beloved pygmy hippopotamus and tourism icon, to mark her second birthday on 10 July 2026. This limited-edition collection consists of only 999 pieces available worldwide.
According to Narongwit Chodchoy, Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo, the commemorative item has been produced as a special-occasion collectible. Each set is presented in an 11-by-11-inch premium frame and is priced at 1,999 baht.
The final piece of the collection, numbered 999, will not be sold through the standard pre-order programme. Instead, it will be auctioned for interested collectors, with proceeds earmarked to support Khao Kheow Open Zoo’s conservation missions and ongoing operations.
Pre-orders are open until 15 July 2026, or until all pieces have been fully reserved.
