BEIJING (Kyodo) — China said Wednesday it will expel American journalists working for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post as part of countermeasures to the recent U.S. restrictions on Chinese media agencies and journalists.

It also demanded that in addition to those outlets, Voice of America and Time magazine provide information about their staff, finance, operation and real estate in China in writing.
